I was in denial about needing a replacement but when it was pointed out that the old furnace was 29 years old, I reached acceptance. I did get multiple bids and that was well worth it because the first one was $6k more than the one I went with.

Oh no! I had my furnace replaced the Friday before last and we were SO COLD until then. But I didn't want to risk a carbon monoxide leak, so we just bundled up. At one point, I had four cats and a dog piled on me at once.

I had just been dropped off at the airport when it happened, so I didn’t see the damage until I got home. But all my neighbors texted me to make sure I was okay, so I was mentally prepared for the reality of it.

If you’re wondering what a “least weasel” is, they absolutely live up to the name. This is the least amount of animal you can have that can still meet the bar for “is weasel”

I got the donuts. My choice was governed solely by which of the two shops that open at 5am was the closest.
