I watched What we imagine as light in the theater and it’s such a beautifully made film! The story has so much soul!! 🩷✨

It’s rare to find a movie that shows the complex language pool of India. The movie is in THREE primary languages along with short dialogue from more.

Author & teacher friends! Many of us are working on proposals for NCTE25, and given our current situation, it's more important than ever that all panels include voices from historically marginalized groups. All-white panels don't reflect the kids we serve. If you need suggestions, just ask around!

I used to LOVE to look out the window to see the Christmas lights on people’s houses. I don’t see as many lights anymore (C9 bulbs take a lot of power and electric bills are high 😂) but I still wanted to draw something that had that same sense of wonder that I felt as a little person. ✨ #kidlitart
