While walking yesterday I took a photo of this red horse-chestnut tree's rose-red, cone-shaped flower clusters which bloom in May. The tree is an artificial hybrid between a red buckeye and a horse-chestnut. There is a honeybee happily foraging at the top of the cluster. #dailywalks #plants #trees

When the weather isn't frigid, we walk. Today's photos include my sweet garden princess Haley. She is very slow now and struggles when it's too cold or too hot. I worry she will pass on a day she didn't get to walk which would be hard to take because for my old baby girl, walking is life.
