Perfect encapsulation of what makes reactionary centrists so dangerous: They genuinely believe it's possible to spend their entire careers amplifying right-wing messages without taking any responsibility for right-wing legislation.
I scoffed when I saw this headline.
Without going MAGA, ok, but it’s reaction, and from a crowd critics call “reactionary centrists.”
But still, thought I’d give it a shot.
Starts with multi-paragraph recount of a 2017 incident at Evergreen college, an anecdote repeated so many times.

Belatedly read this today. While many no longer need convincing that the US prison system is evil, this is among the more damning accounts. As prison populations age we are increasingly looking the other way as folks who don’t even remember their crimes are punished.
