I sense the trend among younger folks for the art they engage to have more meaning, or to not be degraded by the streaming economy. It was an awesome conversation.

One student asked how I felt going from listening to tapes and CDs in the 1990s to streaming. We talked about what we lose when we hand our listening and music tastes over to tech companies, even if we have access to much of recorded music in the palm of our hands.

Yeah, it sounds like the deal was in place before last week's elections and the losers in the Dem Party knew they would've looked stupid if they come out for this "deal" last Weds or Thurs
