My student loans were discharged last Friday via PSLF! Which is fantastic, and I’m over the moon about it! But with the Supreme Court giving no fucks about Trump dismantling the Department of Education, I feel incredibly lucky that I got my forgiveness when I did.

I was diagnosed in 2023 when I was 38. When I told a friend and my dad, they both basically said “well duh, of course you are, I’ve known you were on the spectrum forever, lol what took you so long?” RFK Jr. is, as usual, full of shit.
RFK jr talking about how “autism is only being diagnosed in children, not in older adults, it must be an epidemic” is crazy because have you ever met someone who is 60+ who is clearly autistic and doesn’t realize and suggest they get diagnosed? sometimes they’re offended you even suggest doing that

As someone with autism, that moment between Joe & Eva on tonight’s #survivor was everything. Just incredibly touching to see her be vulnerable with everyone and for Joe to recognize she needed him. I was freaking out because I relate so much and it’s awesome that the show is telling this story.

I keep thinking, “surely he’ll do something so bad that Congress will have to draw a line and impeach/convict him,” but A) it’s scary to think of what else he could do that would be bad enough for them, and B) what if he does that bad thing and they STILL don’t act?
That’s what terrifies me.

Okay, so this is hilariously and frighteningly incompetent on its own. But just go to the DOGE website and look at it. Does it look like a professional government website? Or does it look like a web design student’s first attempt at a site with an embedded Twitter feed? Hint: it’s not the former.

I am so close to PSLF and so scared it’s going to get taken away from me inches from the finish line. Trump has ignored the courts telling him to halt his funding freeze, so there’s nothing to stop him from eliminating PSLF and then just ignoring the courts when they tell him that’s illegal.

This is why we’re 100% in a constitutional crisis. Trump and his cronies are blatantly ignoring separation of powers, with regard to both the legislature (funding freeze, trying to dissolve agencies created by Congress, DOGE) and the judiciary (ignoring court orders). This is a coup.
