Oh that's frustrating. It reminds me of a few other yarns I've used, but that's probably just because these are my kind of colours. Makes me think of Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable. Texture's right and those clearer bands of colour in the twist.

Lovely colours 😊

Thank you - yes it kind of is, though 11 years on and I still haven't woven in all the ends 🫣 I take it 'on tour' when I do crochet workshops at my employer's wellbeing week. Just to show how you can learn as you go along (they got more complex than these).

Great name too!

Thank you 😊

Thanks. I got a book with 100 squares, and another book with lots more. I used some of the patterns many times over throughout the year, and eventually started winging it and inventing as I went along 😊

I think the textile artist(s) have rather outshone the stained glass artist this time 😊

The artist was Frankie Pollak (just looked up). It's lovely 😊

I never tire of seeing this 😁

One of the better re-uses I've seen. I really like this.

I do really love these old fragments but they always remind me that it was often the wealthy, and not necessarily the talented, who got to do the painting 😁

Simply wonderful 😊

Interesting windows. It looks like the heralds are trying to put out the fire 😊

Beautiful colours, and that fan is superb!

Wonderful! Such lovely painting.

Finally we visited St Lawrence Jewry. Canon David Parrott had asked me also to photograph the other windows there. Just two simple windows from Lawrence Lee, more heraldry, to photograph, then the other (huge) windows in this superb Christoper Wren building. Worth a visit. 5/5 #StainedGlassSunday

Still more to get through, we went to the Worshipful Company of Painter-Stainers at Little Trinity Lane where we were met by the Beadle. Lawrence Lee took many secular commissions and here was more heraldry. His son Stephen says they will have put food on the table. 4/5 #StainedGlassSunday #LSL

Then to Throgmorton Street to the Carpenters' Company to see their landing window dedicated to former Master of the Company, Albert Bernay. The window has heraldic shields connected by a Tree of Life motif. The hall and its few hundred years old floor were stunning. 3/5 #StainedGlassSunday (See Alt)
