Altadena is one of the communities I grew up in and still have family. They were not effective but I hear of hardships first hand. This is great news.
while The Horrors persist, let us celebrate less horrors overall…. because all three mega fires in Los Angeles are finally 100% contained!!

I cannot believe what Trump is doing to our Democracy. I have found solace in music. I will not let the rhetoric live in my head.

Kākāpō 101 No. 1. All 244 #kakapo in the world live in the wild, on 7 island sanctuaries across New Zealand. Three of these are breeding sites; three contain only males. They can't be kept in captivity for long periods because they need a varied diet and lots of space. #conservation #parrots #birds
