John Fetterman is like if you asked AI to make an unlikable American Shrek.

Chuck Schumer needs to step down as Senate Minority Leader, immediately. This is the last straw. An utter failure of leadership. And Fetterman needs to go. Scumbag abandoned millions of people to poverty and death, capitulating to fascists like the useful idiot he is.

If the DNC doesn't find start searching for candidates to replace the 8 Democrats who just betrayed their party and ruined the best chance they have to preserve healthcare subsidies that are vital to millions of people, they're suicidal.

People who say the #Silksong score is subpar are either salty about how hard the game is, trolling, or their ears are improperly functioning. It's marvelous

YouTube ads have long been an ever-worsening menace, but this week's been unbearable. Not just how many more ad breaks there are in every video, but every single one is now 1 of 3 unskippable treacly pitches for TikTok, often playing the same ad twice in a row. If I still had hair, I'd pull it out.

I don't want to bother with the paywall is that @washingtonpost.com Megan McArdle piece all about the violent left because someone punched Richard Spencer, or does it include the vastly more common violence from the right?

Ezra Klein has lost whatever remaining shreds of credibility he had with his revisionist history in the paper of record today. Disgraceful. Shame on him. #EzraKlein #CharlieKirk

If Books Could Kill did the definitive roast of Bari Weiss and The Free Press and their ridiculous, repetitive, hateful, poorly-researched, anti-intellectual, hyper-conservative-while-pretending-to-be-neutral grift. She's an objectively terrible journalist, an open bigot, and honestly kinda dumb.

Oh god,I finally managed to buy Silksong but I forgot to clear space on my hard drive 🤦‍♂️

As annoying as it is that I can't download Silksong yet, let's give it up for Team Cherry. I can't think of the last time another game, let alone an indie game, managed to bring down the storefronts of every console and Steam on launch day. It's genuinely impressive and oddly heartwarming

See, this is why I wanted to be able to pre-order Silksong. These store crashes were extremely predictable

I think Silksong broke the Xbox store

The @nytimes.com continues to crank out tedious centrist pablum, but there was a line in Michele Cottle's horrifically headlined op-ed about "badass" women who tout national security experience to counter the perception of Dems as "weak," and I find it fascinating (thread)

Every Democrat, hell, every voter needs to read and internalize this editorial. We're heading towards complete disaster and the heads of the party are steering into collapse: newrepublic.com/article/1987...

Establishment Democrats Are Going to Torpedo the 2026 Midterms
Having failed to learn the key lesson from last year’s defeat, party leaders are promoting moderate candidates to run against populist progressives in next year’s elections.

Privatization of public services never works because there are some services which just cannot make a profit. Rural hospitals will never make as much revenue as those in the city, but the people in those areas still need those services.

How did @washingtonpost.com do a whole profile on Laura Loomer without mentioning that she cheerfully said that we should feed every Latino in America to alligators, and remains a regular guest of the White House despite literally calling for a racial genocide?

How has there been no move to censure Mike Lee? He ought to be removed from office and banned from running again for life, but at least a censure vote would count for something. But we can't even manage that? What is the party doing?

Mike Lee is fecal. For his written thoughts on the horror in Minnesota alone, any healthy republic would immediately expel him from its national legislature.

That's all. That's the tweet.

Censure Mike Lee today. If there isn't even a motion introduced to censure him by the end of the day, the legislature will be derelict in its duties. Any Republican who votes against it needs to be shamed to hell and back. He should be removed, but barring that, censure is the minimum he deserves

Some random 'Blue Dog' Democrat: "I hate everything my voters want, and I think we should all be Republicans."

The media: "Could this be the next Democratic nominee for president?"

God, Aaron Blake at @washingtonpost.com wrote about 12 democrats with a chance in 2028, and John Fetterman is in the top 5, so, you know, if you're wondering if the democrats or media have learned anything from this last election, I think it's safe to say the answer is no.
