Davis is the representative whose district was gerrymandered to be more favorable to Republicans and he said he wants to run for re-election anyway.

If Mia Hamm is the Queen of American Women’s soccer, Michelle Akers is the Queen Mother. If you only remember her from the 99ers, you missed her entire career as the world’s greatest striker.

We lost that argument a long time ago. Yesterday was the 13th anniversary of Sandy Hook. When our legislators decided they were OK with 6 year olds being murdered, the battle was lost. The gun fetishists won.

Is he going to make similar threats against a country in the Mideast that also nationalized its oil industry?

Which is why our Thanksgiving turkey was named Cuck Schumer. Either he tacitly sanctioned the 8 members caving or he was unaware that they were doing so until they announced it. Neither are forgivable. I hope someone primaries his ass and he goes down in flames.

I was rooting for BU in that one. I sent a LOT of tuition money their way for my oldest.

My former company is headquartered in Kalamazoo, around the corner from
Western Michigan. Even the Red Wings fans among them are happy for him.

I was worried when Miller was out but Gleason is doing a good job of managing his time.

I said some bad words when Wolves tied it late yesterday but got a pretty good leap off the coach for the winner.

Buium and Ohgren could have been Nikishin and Nadeau. But Tulsky really didn’t have a Rossi equivalent unless they would have taken KK. But Rossi is coming off consecutive 20 goal seasons, a number KK has never hit.

What I really miss from the hell site is “Let’s dig in”, which invariable led to a takedown of some RWNJ and a free Princeton education for me.

It’s also nice that their athletic department is well funded enough to pass up a $6-8 million payout.

I love lentil soup, my wife hates lentils and many other legumes. So I live with Progresso canned lentil soup.

True. But do you think Infantino will give him a firm no when the inevitable question comes up? Or is going to play the game and dance around it to give fodder to dupes like Monica Crowley for 6 more months by hedging his bet?
December 5, 2025 at 6:15 PM
All of that is true. But if Trump demands it, does Infantino have the stones to say no?

The fear is that the voluntary separation is a precursor to a layoff if enough people don’t take the deal.

And you’re right about the percentages. At least once a week, an email bounces back because the person left.

I’ve been in your shoes on both sides of the divide. Both suck. My company was a division spun off from a Fortune 200 company in April. Yesterday they rolled out a voluntary separation program based on the results of a pulse survey where 10% of employees said they wouldn’t be staying for a year.

Both wheelchair attendants we had at MSP airport last week were Somalis. Lovely people. Sprinting through an airport to make sure we made our connection, friendly, kind, everything Trump isn’t.

Just make sure it’s gone before I get to my mother in law’s house in 18 days.

Ugh. This is what I had all of last week in Portland, OR. But I didn’t have to get up and walk a dog then. At least my commute to work is a short walk down the hall.
