This is stunning. I've been to this church some years ago and, even before the restoration, it was incredibly vivid. Gobsmacking when you consider how old it is.

If Labour will keep ignoring the Brexit elephant trampling the economy into the ground...

Maybe the Tories will be the first to change their tune? It's such a gaping open goal!

This, by Best for Britain, is a superb piece of work.

It shows that the UK public prioritise the EU over the US for trade, values and trust.

This is also true of voters who switched from Tories to Labour in the recent general election.

New poll: Europe is public’s priority in face of Trump tariffs
Important new poll shows twice as many voters think the UK should prioritise increasing trade with the EU compared to those who favour the US.

World beating UK, energy prices nearly double anywhere else.

Also the UK, every energy firm making 4-10x profits.

I wonder if they are related?

Robinson then asks whether immigrants are a threat to German culture, but again, she’s having none of it, pointing out very high rates of naturalisation of Syrian refugees.

Expert shuts down Robinson’s suggestion that the “crises” impacting attitudes to refugees in Germany include violent attacks.

“Looking at overall crime numbers we can’t say refugees contribute to a large extent.” Corrects him that she means crises like the pandemic & war in Ukraine #r4today

On the other place, Nick Robinson himself took the time to respond to my question about evidence for his claim that “more & more people” are coming to Europe through Turkey.

What an honour. Too bad his stats are out of date.

King Charles is the equivalent of the Victorians who used to run workhouses with slave labour, but opened soup kitchens so a few less would starve to death.

Except of course that he is far richer than any of those Victorian slave drivers ever were.

There's a gigantic lump of latent economic growth sitting slap bang in the middle of the room in the form of the Brexit elephant...

But it looks like Labour would prefer to preside over a further period of decline rather than wind their collective necks in and do the right thing.
