Agree
Remember: the televised punishment & humiliation meted out to Zelensky just now could be done to any NATO ally facing similar aggression. The sense of sneering hostility & contempt by Trump & Vance isn’t specific to Ukraine.

Costume, exact word
GLENN: Why don't you wear a suit? You're at the highest level in this country's office & you refuse to wear a suit. A lot of Americans have problems with you not respecting the office.

ZELENSKYY: I will wear a costume after this war will finish. Maybe something like yours. Maybe something better.

This is what should be on every front page right now. What's happening in the US right now is an illegal power grab by a private citizen. IT'S A COUP.

It's a digital coup. It's Musk who's leading it. The consequences are terrifying. And it's coming for us next.

IT IS A COUP
This is what should be on every front page in 150 point banner headlines. All I have is this Substack but I lay it beneath your feet and pray to a higher power that I'm wrong.

Very important for everyone in the British politics to understand what we are dealing with here, and the stakes involved. Not politics as normal.

The state we are in 😔
Tucked into this column, a detail I wasn't aware of: one of the cops accused of running spies to collect dirt on the Stephen Lawrence campaign went on to write the recent Policy Exchange report that recommended tougher sentences for environmental protesters. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

As a ‘spy cop’, Bob Lambert callously betrayed innocent women. The official inquiry must ask harsh questions of him – and the state, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

Across Mountains, Land & Sea is an incredible book.

The story, in his own words, of a child refugee’s journey from Afghanistan to the UK & his experiences when he arrived.

So compelling & well-written.
Every one of those migrants we talk about is an individual human with a story like this.❤️🙏
Across Mountains, Land and Sea is now Available at Waterstones stores across the UK. Get yours here-https://geni.us/AcrossMountainsLandSea

It's time the British Museum addresses slavery.

We want to see a room at the British Museum for slavery, so it can tell a better story of how we got here and who we are.

Why does the British Museum need to talk about slavery? - Good Law Project
We’re teaming up with The World Reimagined to launch a campaign to make sure our national museum tells our national story, with a permanent exhibit about the transatlantic slave trade.
