More and more companies will choose to go private route than public funding route in 2025. This will be a huge change in game of finance where currently VCs and eventually public IPO route dominate. #predictions #finance
Spent the whole day with claude, ghostty. Maybe start with some zig as well. Hope to have bit more fun with claude. I think its not about productivity but unleashing the wild thinking.

"Busy" is fundamentally cancerous word that is so common with software folks. Very few understands busy is not effective or productive.

In my experience, It’s rarely engineering decision to go with single region, finance or executives on top takes the decision and ignore architecture or engineering recommendations to go multi-az or multi region or test for resiliency. They should be held accountable for incidents.

There's a sanctuary in Meath that takes in often disabled cows and let's them live out their life happily but they're being evicted.
If anybody has a few hectares and wouldn't mind cattle on them you should get in contact with them.
It's heartstone sanctuary

Personal hot take: Every AI selling vendor should be asked this key question: “If your AI does blunders, are you happy to take the liability exposure and loss due to those mistakes?”

benchmarks doesn’t matter, real contracts does.benchmarks maybe good to grab VC money.

If you have calculators, you still need to verify results on your own. I don’t understand how good people with brain just rely on AI summaries for anything and everything. It doesn’t make sense to me. Meetings scribes are fine but insights are always personal chemistry. Don’t turn off your brain.

There's a big difference between launches and landings. A launch is when you merge all the code, close that final Jira ticket, and cut a new product release. A landing is when your customers pay for it.

Bury your agentic ai so deep that your end user can’t see it. Naive, overzealous companies are keeping it at surface for blind marketing depts. customers should *experience* the magic not brainwashed into your marketing garbage.
