Old #Permic or #Anbur was derived from #Cyrillic to write #Komi, a #Uralic language in northern #European #Russia from 14th - 17th century.

Some of the letters were likely derived from Komi tamgas.

Why can’t more newspapers look like this?
Our latest blog features a recent acquisition: a Parisian journal, in medieval style, inspired by the 1900 Paris Exposition. Read all about it here: specialcollections-blog.lib.cam.ac.uk?p=30510

If you're a EU citizen, please sign this citizens' initiative.
It's goal is to stop videogame publishers destroying games after release / letting community to preserve games.

Only two months left and it has less than the half of votes, but it's still worth trying

It seems rather fitting that one of the earliest surviving Lithuanian inscriptions, an early c16th annotation on Joannes Herolt's Liber discipuli de eruditione Christifidelium (1485), is the word 'prižadėjimas' (enchantment) next to an underlined section about snake worship 🐍

Ukraine is Europe!
We stand by Ukraine.

We will step up our support to Ukraine so that they can continue to fight back the agressor.

Today, it became clear that the free world needs a new leader. It’s up to us, Europeans, to take this challenge.
