50 years ago, I was a sixth grader. It was the year before the 200th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. I know more about that period than any other before I was born. It really is fascinating. Faults and all, it IS a seminal event.🦅

This is Mason Rudolph. Born July 17 1995. He returned to the Steelers roster this year as a backup QB, after also doing that from 2019 to 2023. Very handsome, 6’ 5”.

He has a very tight Mars-Pluto sextile. Which drives supposedly straight guys to overcompensate by hating on him. It is so obvious.😌

With the new Ken Burns series dropping tomorrow, I especially look forward to seeing a lot of MAGA people actually learning about how the American Revolution was much about overthrowing a monarch who was ignoring the needs and dismissing the aspirations of those under his rule.

This should be fun.🍿

If I am doing some task on Saturdays, like I was just doing, I can feel when Saturn Hour arrives, as I always get the “Okay, stop now.” Part of having a ♑️-ASC and Moon trine Saturn is *feeling* these things.

I don't know if this is a libertarian issue, this is basic understanding of the purpose of education issue.

The goal of testing, and thus grading, should be determining how well a person understands the material that has been taught, not how quickly one can read, write, or think.

Again, I am strongly suggesting that folks watch the documentary “Crip Camp” on Netflix. Hugely important history.

I look in awe at the achievements in China in electric vehicles, renewable energy production and high-speed rail. I wish the USA had similarly-sized investments in cheap EVs and HSR.

But 60% of electricity in China comes from burning coal. Very dirty. It’s a real problem. In the USA it is only 16%.

I just looked up the stats, and over 20% of all adults in the USA made at least one bet on sports in the previous year. I had no idea the number was that huge.😐
The Athletic polled hundreds of players from across the NBA, NFL, MLB and NHL about their opinions surrounding how sports betting impacts players — the responses were haunting.

I think the reason autistic people struggle with unwritten social "rules" is that those "rules" are never universally applied.

Because they are not actually rules, they're more like standards that most people seem to align with. But not all... never all...
