I don't like predictions, so I'll just say that the evidence we have suggests Trump will invoke the Act but claim it's only to give appropriate border enforcement powers to soldiers in the border's Roosevelt Reservation. It'll be a lie—but it'll delay a nationwide reaction to what he's really up to.

Why aren't Democratic leaders in Congress doing at least this:
If a Democratic President suddenly supported Russia in a war like Trump just did, GOP in Congress would go ballistic. Even in minority they would be making press calling the Pres a "traitor," demanding all bank transfers to see if Russia sent him $, flooding Fox News calling for impeachment etc
