If you actually wanna know 'what actions are a gift to Reform?' it's hard to look beyond Blue Labour cos-playing Reform.

Quick story about how profoundly JK Rowling has changed.

She once sought to help a young woman of colour who, she believed (rightly), had been targeted by a notorious right wing self publicist working with Jonathan Ames and then thrown under a bus by Edinburgh Uni. She wanted me to assist.

If Westminster rule delivers terrible outcomes under the Tories, no discernible philosophy or change under Labour, and the prospect of Farage as Prime Minister, what exactly is the case for Scotland remaining part of the UK?

Here’s the thing, if they are picking up folks working in the country illegally, I’m going to need to see some white guys also being arrested for employing people working illegally in the country.

Otherwise, it’s just racism.

It's 2025, not 1952. That a current UK government - and a Labour government at that - is seriously proposing this should send a chill down the spine of everyone who values civil rights and understands history.

This should have no place in a civilised society.
Violent criminals could be let out early for good behaviour under new proposals
The landmark sentencing review calls for fewer custodial sentences and earlier prison releases.

Putin signed an executive order on "monitoring of harm caused to Russia by foreign sources."

I wonder if anyone will ever tally up the harm caused to Russia by Putin during his reign.

The order is supposed to work on "improvement of the protection of Russia's national interests."

This morning, for the first time ever, she was challenged in the changing rooms at the swimming pool. Her breasts were not what make her a woman - but, breasts or not, she is entitled to dignity and protection from vigilantes.

It's like Labour looked at everything the Tories got existentially wrong - tacking Right, sleaze, dishonesty, ignoring the moderate wing of its own party - and thought, "y'know, I'd like some of that."
