I have been prescribed a particular ADHD medication for over a year and have consistently been prescribed it at the PBS reduced rate. Today trying to get a repeat, GP was told by Services Australia Telephone Authority service that only patients who were diagnosed ADHD <18 are eligible for PBS rate.

Social cohesion Australia is fraying. Not because of immigration. Social cohesion is eroding because of increasing inequality. Fear results. Hope must be restored for social cohesion to build. But hope is dead if uncertainty reigns. Uncertainty ends when the future feels assured.
The term social cohesion has been said A LOT over the last few days. Most people using the term don’t know what it actually means. It’s not about assimilation or multiculturalism. It’s much broader, encapsulating class, social capital and inequality. www.abc.net.au/religion/and...

The ABC would have turfed out and prostrated itself before Senate Committees and News Corp columnists if a senior manager or journalist was so closely connected with Labor or the Greens.

But a completely different standard for the big boss.

If our economic system depends on 4.5% unemployment....

...then perhaps we should increase JobSeeker to a living wage??

Otherwise we're condemning 900,000 Australians to poverty...

The RBA continues to believe we need an extra 85,000 unemployed because it believes we need an unemployment rate of 4.5% in order to stop inflation from accelerating... even though it is currently... err decelerating

Shame on the Fair Work Commission!! 🤬🤬🤬

It's so disgusting how limited we unionists are with what industrial action we can do in this country. And how we have to beg to do it at all!

This is one of the most egregious misuses of the Committee system I've ever seen. 24 hours to make submissions on an incredibly legally, technically and morally complex piece of legislation and the Committee wants less than TWO PAGES PER SUB.

Just skip the inquiry if you don't want to listen!
