Sorry to hear the sad news.
And yeah, it's weird - for a good few years I'd find myself checking to make sure that not-my-cat wasn't trying to sneak into the house when I'd leave the front door open
(Yes, I did have a bed for her on my doorstep, though, LOL)

I was quite pleased with how the tiny cooking fire came out on my Robinson Crusoe boardgame hut mini
The hut mini from the Robinson Crusoe boardgame. It is a wooden hut with ship sails used as a mantel, a thatched roof, and a tiny, stone lined cooking fire. It has been painted by me to a fairly adequate level using contrast paints, the flames on the fire look ok, for my (bad) skill level of painting

Happy birthday, hope you have a great day. When I see Onion being a glorious, chaotic pest I can think of that as time spent metaphorically with you when I have The Ginger Terror being equally as pesky, LOL.

Yeah, I did something similar with my War Of The Ring Mount Doom piece to add lava (though not so fiddly as doing it around a skewer). Even with my terrible modelling and painting skills it came out ok

Oh, the dilemma of The Cottage Pie.
Do you serve yourself more of the edge parts because they are more crispy on top, or the middle section that has more cheese melted on it?
I wonder if a mathematical model would reveal a T shape?

Running out Shackleton, solo. Learning the game as I go, too, so it's been slow going, but it's very good - I'm at the end of round 1 now. Not sure how the hell I'm supposed to get even vaguely efficient at it, but then I suspect thing might ramp up through rounds 2 and 3

The Shackleton Base boardgame. It's a pretty complex heavy Euro so there's lots going on. There's a main board area depicting the moon, with various structures built on it, plus a player and a bot board at the side with gaps where the built structures were, some of which are filled with astronauts which provide various benefits. There are also three industrial companies that also provide other functions and scoring opportunities

You have many happy memories of your time together, so she will never be completely gone. Not-My-Cat is still with me, even though she physically left my life quite a few years ago. I still share this picture of her with people and point out they will never be this comfortable
