this is totally correct, he’s not invincible and he’s not going to get his way on a bunch of things, and also he constantly lies about what he’s going to do and constantly changes his mind for no good reason.

Yeah. I am very much on the verge of just blocking people who say "meh, the rule of law no longer matters" or "they're just going to do what they want" etc.
They can try, but accepting it as given, means giving up.
