The huMOM had me sit and wait while she watched birds flying around a tree this morning - something about baby nut hatches learning to fly... Why would birds have to learn to fly? I thought the squirrel we saw a bit later was far more interesting. Good walking!

84°F @ 8:45 PM - Finally! We walk! I howled to go at 6:30, but my humans said the asphalt was still too hot for paws. The half moon and big dragonflies are out at dusk. A quail family with babies runs into a hiding hedge. The flags hang motionless.
