Dedicated Nintendo Switch 2 software sales reached 20.62m units (Doesn't account for upgrades, Switch 1 games).

This isn't technically incorrect given consoles are no longer the primary entry point for gaming.

The issue is that Xbox has de-emphasized its own console ecosystem while falling short of building a true Xbox ecosystem on mobile, PC, and cloud.

Hence Xbox games on PS5.

For the Xbox platform division, hitting 30% profit margins has required a drastic rethink. For individual games, it's not a completely unrealistic target... except they're all released day-one on Xbox Game Pass, cannibalizing sales.
