So I thought, yeah I can paint anything. This should be no different.
Nope. I’ve never painted something like Mina before so I’m having to learn how to do it efficiently but also to make her look real.

I’m getting better at making eyes. I got a dope one I just made. But here’s the progress so far from my first lousy attempt to one of my recent ones.

So I’ve been learning odontology. I think I’ve found the perfect combination to crate teeth that can scatter light as if it’s showing the separation of enamel and dentin.
If they were solid, Mina wouldn’t look real and she’s gotta look real!

So I guess it’s taken me about 2 weeks to learn animatronics and some engineering.
Next update will be a painted one with hopefully a better looking eyeball and cooler movements.

So I figured this out.
Already working on Mina 2.0. This is her eye under UV light to cure. Her eyes will be fully articulating and she’ll be able to blink. I’m also figuring out how to automate her jaw and making her roar on command.

Doing an upper tooth check on Mina. I’m finding a ton of little things that aren’t perfect on her which I was hoping to avoid but considering I’ve never done this before, I’d say she’s a good prototype and I’m learning a lot.

Started working on her other side for coloring and doing patchwork. I also threw in my hand so you can see just how big she is.

For Mina’s upper mouth in and slapped some silicone on there. Hopefully it looks good when it’s painted.

Finally got her upper chompers made.
Got Mina’s top skull finished along with her jaw and lower teeth. The alignment hole for her jaw to articulate is off by about 1/4” but I think I can fix that.
