Inside the Palais Fédérale they are anxiously awaiting the USSC ruling on Trump’s tariffs. Helga the boxer could care less.

Works for canned wine too.

I love Petite Arvine and I especially love a budget PA. This second label from the respected Domaine Rouvinez is on sale at my local grocery store. Such a deal. I’m buying a bunch.

So good.

Pulled from the cellar a couple of years early but the expected silkiness and expansive aromatics are already present. This is a great success from the border between Neuchâtel and Lac de Bienne (Bielersee).

I had no idea millennials were mostly republican.

I’ve been known to snoop around for wine in some suspect places, but this one from TJs stood out. And, surprise, it was OK. A bit of Bandol umami with CdProvence nothingness.

Used to hang around the SF Art Institute back in the day. Looking back, this faculty list is mind-blowing. A Golden Age for West Coast art.

I’m not a big CDP rosé fan but members of my family love it. Therefore, I’m tasked with finding ones we all can drink. This is one of the better ones for the money.

It’s all real.

Woke up in the middle of the night to a thunderous crash. No worries, it was only a 20 meter tree that fell a short distance from our bedroom. Please, I have a cellar full of wine to drink before I go.

Billions.

I believe Aligoté has a future in Geneva if everyone had an eye like this. I like the touch of CO2 and the depth of flavor. An estate with generational change in progress. Things are looking up.

I’m confused.

Can anyone guess what’s unusual about this wine.

I search of volcanic rock in Swiss vineyards.

Cool wine bar that I just stumbled upon in Visp. Cornalin, Petite Arvine, Syrah, and Sylvaner flow by the glass. Not listed in any guides. Offbeat wines and a quirky owner means it’s the real deal.
