This is Finny. He doesn’t go chasing waterfalls. He carefully studies their timing and arrives in advance. 14/10 very impressive (TT: jordancain70)

Others have said it, but I feel the need to echo it: please donate to your local PBS and NPR stations today. Puget Sound's KUOW now has a $1.4 million-dollar funding gap, and it's probably one of the better-resourced stations. This is a death blow to what remains of the free press.

Farm Stand has been a wonderful partner in helping us bring our food to restaurants and food access programs. We love Farm Stand!
Also, as mayor I do absolutely want to support and partner with community-led food system efforts - like Rainier Beach Action Coalition’s Food Hub and Farm Stand, and their longer term plans for a Food Innovation Center near the Rainier Beach Light Rail Station. /

If that fails (hope it doesn't though) you can always get great locally grown peppers at your nearest farmer's market!
I’m watching The Martian. I figure if this guy can grow food on Mars, I can grow some goddamn peppers in my backyard.

At this point we feel obligated to inform people that we do still have open spots in CSA for this summer! 😅

It's Election Day and it's especially important for renters to vote! The SRC endorses Prop 1A, which would create new revenue (est $50m/year) to fund social housing. Prop 1B actually diverts $10m/year of existing funds for affordable housing.

I think it's worth repeating plainly that a federal judge halted Musk's federal funding freeze nearly two weeks ago but funds are still very much being frozen in violation of the court order.
