I miss when we had real, tough presidents that didn't get wounded via handshakes.
Q: Can you explain what's going on with the bandages on Trump's hand?

LEAVITT: We've given you an explanation. The president is literally constantly shaking hands.

Darn, there goes that 25% Trump wants
Lutnick: "I think under President Trump you're gonna see the economy grow 6%"

We should set up Mike Johnson in a movie theater since he's so good at projection.
Mike Johnson: "These are the facts and they're undisputed: They broke the economy and now they want to lecture to the American people about affordability."

The lying is so chronic that there is no way this could be a good thing. Either Johnson is telling the truth and they're choosing to sleep so little that their ability to do their jobs would be diminished or he's lying about something for no reason.
VARNEY: Do you work 18 hours a day?

MIKE JOHNSON: More. More. And I have to, because President Trump works 21 hours a day.

Sen. Mark Kelly has released a statement.

"If this is meant to intimidate me and other members of Congress from doing our jobs and holding this administration accountable, it won't work. I've given too much to this country to be silenced by bullies..."

If Trump is innocent, then there's nothing in the files to "get the president" over
Tom Emmer on the Epstein files vote: "Much ado about nothing. That was purely a political stunt by people who want to get the president."

Trump really had a military flyover to welcome the country that helped make 9/11 happen.
Fox News describes Trump's greeting of MBS, which included a military flyover, as "a welcome like no other that we've seen at our White House for the leader of Saudi Arabia"

When in Rome, do as the Romans. In Indiana we don't promote based on DEI, we elect DUIs.
Hegseth: "No more social justice. No more political correctness. No more toxic ideological garbage that infected the department. No more identity months. No more DEI offices. No more dudes in dresses. No more climate change worship. No more division. No more gender delusions."

Keeper is an absolutely wild game that I definitely recommend playing if you still have Game Pass. I wouldn't recommend it at the full $30 price tag because you just aren't likely to put many hours in it. My own Game Pass expires next week, so it was a quick run to play through this.

Are...we watching a stroke in real time? This has to be elder abuse
Trump on Florida's Republican senators: "They're in Washington working hard and they were gonna come, and I said, 'Do me a favor. Stay back and work on the things you're working on.' They're working on, uh, really thing."

Prop 50 specifies that this only happens if Texas does it first. If Texas chose to not rig the election for themselves, Prop 50 would not take effect.
Mike Johnson on California's Prop 50: "It was a sign of desperation on the Democrat Party. It was a game to rig the election."

Why is the billionaire dealing making president not calling on all of his wealthy friends and supporters to donate to food banks instead of his ballroom?
Mike Johnson: "President Trump has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that if there is any way to fund these programs that are drying up, he will do it. If there was any way to fund SNAP during the Democratic shutdown, you can be assured that your commander in chief would do it."

Make Trump take it on live TV first. Someone reads off the questions to him in a random order and he has to answer them out loud

The Trump administration says more difficult questions, and other changes to the naturalization process, will ensure only immigrants who are "fully assimilated" will gain citizenship.

Johnson, do you perhaps have the concept of a plan?
KERNEN: It's like Republicans are in the wilderness about what to do to fix our healthcare

MIKE JOHNSON: Actually, we're not. We're not. We've got pages and pages and pages of ideas of how to reform healthcare. You can't rip Obamacare out at the roots. It's too deeply ingrained now."

Why is he more willing to have discussions with the dictator of Russia than Democrats?
Q: Have any conditions changed to make a second meeting with Putin, more successful, than the Alaska meeting?

LEAVITT: I think the president is always willing to take a chance at diplomacy

What is he fucking talking about? "Uh uh uh, we have representatives in Michigan and Texas sitting with veterans to help them with their loss of services."

How does talking to them help? What would help is calling them into session and passing a compromise with Democrats that would restore funding
Mike Johnson tries to reframe his move to keep the House out to avoid a vote on the Epstein files as a "responsible decision" so Republicans can "work" in their districts

"Far more threatening to them than they ever were with us."
Yeah, that's gonna be pretty easy considering how long liberals have lived by "when they go low, we go high"
Trump: "They have been very threatening to people, but we're gonna be threatening to them. Far more threatening to them than they ever were with us, and that includes the people that fund them ... we're gonna be looking for strongly at the people funding these operations."

This should be a pretty easy question to answer "no" unless that answer would constitute perjury...
WHITEHOUSE: Do you know if the FBI found photographs of Trump with half-naked young women in their search of Epstein's safe or premises?

BONDI: You're trying to slander President Trump when you're the one who was taking money from one of Epstein's closest confidants. I could be wrong. Correct me.

I'm considering going to Chicago around Christmas to enjoy the fun seasonal events going on. If Chicago is still occupied in December, then I'll be avoiding it for the safety of myself and my family.
Yes, no one wants to visit a Federally occupied city! Including people who live near it!
A page of IL's lawsuit describes the economic harm Noem's goons do to a city.
