I spend a lot of time on social media reminding people that it’s possible to be *both* dishonest *and* a moron. The right in the US and in the UK now largely consists of the overlap in this Venn.

Hard to argue against, although the shoes could do with a shine.

All this is why I am very happy to co-sign this letter organised by Luke, a great champion for net-zero and fighting climate change. An important reminder that support for tackling the climate emergency remains strong inside Parliament and with the British public.

Very few people still alive have faced this real and present a threat of fascism, this multi-faceted a set of impossible global challenges. We have to build alliances with people with whom we disagree on almost everything - except saving democracy. We must internalise this before we lose all. 10/10
