For the vast majority of above-ground public protests “don’t bring your phone” is actually bad security advice. You are much more likely to need your phone to call for help or document police aggression than you are to be arrested later cuz your phone pinged a cell tower near the raging grannies

I have mascara running down my face as my body is arched and twisted in a weird way, while I'm still pretending to act the role society thinks I'm playing. My hair is a mess and my collared dress shirt, bowtie and overcoat are a mess, a vain attempt at hiding the emotional turmoil I'm fighting off from overtaking my mind. The struggle of being a trans man who hasn't gotten top surgery is a tough life to live as many people assume you are still a woman despite acting and dressing like a man. I prefer having long hair so people always clock me as a man despite everything. Labels this labels that, how is it a crime to be a man and be in touch with a little bit of femininity? Or a woman in touch with masculinity? Or someone who's both? Or neither? It's always about LOOKS. Look then at what the prejudice does, what constant violence and acts of aggression does to a person. Look at the cracks, look at all my imperfections and tell me to my face I don't matter or should have a future just like anyone else in this world. This monster you fuckers love to say trans people are is a myth, but in this day and age, the "monster" you've been wanting might be something far worse than you claim to be. Be careful what you wish for, it may just happen. This series is a warning to the insane Christian zealots as it is empowering to show the true resilience of Two-Spirit, trans, intersex, fluid, and non binary people all across the world. Trans people have existed before written history, we will continue to exist and zealots will perish before we are erased.
