We popped into the town square to check out the food festival, then took a walk in the back fields. Now home for a cuddle and a marathon of Our Girl.

Northumberland was wonderful. We explored a lot, rested well, and Mabel experienced her most scenic poo-stops to date.

My first trip to Northumberland and Mabel's first holiday!

Made the most of the sunny weather by exploring new places and enjoying a riverside picnic. I still have to pinch myself when I remember that we LIVE here and it's not a holiday.

Today marks 6 months since we relocated, way up the country, to North Yorkshire. Relocating comes with many challenges and emotions, but it was the best decision we could have made for ourselves.

Yorkshire is now very much home.

We pulled ourselves away from our cosy morning to go for a chilly walk in our stunning North Yorkshire Moors. All 3 were glad for it.

My littlest brother drew Mabel with her colourful rope toy, and I think he did a very good job.

Today has been wonderful. A walk in a wintery wood whilst being followed by this little guy. Hot chocolate and a game of cards in a proper Yorkshire pub, warming up by the fire. And now The Traitors with a glass of wine and puppy cuddles.
