I wrote a short review of @himself.bsky.social and Abraham Newman's book "The Underground Empire" for the Croatian portal sociologija.hr. I translated the review to English and made it available on my substack. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book and writing about it.

According to the WEF Global Risks Report 2025, global elites have really have cooled on the idea of adverse outcomes from AI? Mis- and disinfo tops the list for short term risks once again. Meanwhile, democratic backsliding/erosion of civic freedoms barely makes the list.
