It has taken more than two years (plus all the years data contributors have spent on their data collection), but finally our data descriptor manuscript preprint on Arctic-boreal carbon fluxes across terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems is out: essd.copernicus.org/preprints/es... Go have a look!
ABCFlux v2: Arctic–boreal CO2 and CH4 monthly flux observations and ancillary information across terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems
Abstract. Measurements of surface-atmosphere carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4) fluxes have been relatively sparse across the Arctic tundra and boreal biomes, causing significant uncertainties in ...

Emergence of a Resource Acquisition Trade‐off at the Community Scale during Environmental Change
A four-decadal cycle of eutrophication and subsequent re-oligotrophication in Lake Constance led to the emergence of a strong trade-off between phosphate and light affinity. We derive an explanation ...

Going back to my guest office with my amazing colleagues, I hope that one of them secures a permanent position someday and eases the stress of the uncertain science academic job market!

Finally completely deactivated my account in the other place. It was hard to let go - it led to great interactions, research collaboration, attending the best conference ever, and to top it all, my current job. But with what is going on in the US, no other choice. Hoping to find everyone here!

We’re back from India! It was a great experience in the field, and I believe we gathered excellent data while fostering valuable collaborations. I also take with me the memories of the amazing people I met and the incredible food!

We are in our last week in India, we got nice spots of ecosystems to measure CH4 and CO2, now we need to process individual flux sources and work with the remote sensig and their idea to use PRISMA, EnMAP and Carbon Mapper!!!!

OK--this is intolerable. Email ASM President Theresa M. Koehler Theresa.M.Koehler@uth.tmc.edu and President Elect Alexander McAdam Alexander.McAdam@childrens.harvard.edu
I want to expand on the extent to which IDEAA materials have been purged: I wrote an article last year for women’s history month on the history of women in antimicrobial development….DELETED.
I’m on one of ASMs IDEAA committees and we have received 0 communication from ASM staff on why this is happening. I had to find out via social media. Extremely disappointing.

A great CH4 and CO2 sampling experience in the wetlands of India. Kerala is a beautiful place with temperatures not as warm as I had expected, and the ABB-LGR is functioning well despite the moisture levels @leibnizigb.bsky.social @amritauniversity.bsky.social
