Until and unless we remove the ability of congress to take bribes by corporations acting in their own interests what happens to us as citizens will never be the focus. We’re an afterthought. If they’re voted out they’ve already hit the lottery. Bribery has to become illegal again.

Some people (including a sitting prosecutor!) who allegedly helped a pedophile sexually assault 31 victims, some as young as 2, for 25 years had their request for a continuance denied yesterday.

An April trial date (that they REALLY wanted to avoid) awaits. arktimes.com/arkansas-blo...

I along with many others are frustrated that nobody objected based on the 14th amendment but to be truthful Trump got away with this when he wasn’t arrested on January 7th. Our government agreed to let him off the hook when he was allowed on the ballot. We were failed long before today.

We should never allow anyone to lie about the events that occurred four years ago. A group of armed insurgents stormed a government proceeding to try to overthrow a rightfully elected president. The perpetrators and the planners should be held accountable for this.

Every time I read @jonesforar.bsky.social’s experience in the paper I feel an alarming amount of frustration and anger that we could have had him as our governor and chose to swindled and lied to instead.

In a sane world, every former president would be held to Jimmy Carter’s standard of post-presidency behavior.

This information has been known by many for some time and there’s still been no consequences. Kevin McCarthy straight up said it. The justice system keeps betraying us and most importantly, the victims.

How is this legal? I’m going to need someone to explain to me how she and her staff aren’t violating something with this.
WHOA! THIS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED FRAUD.

GOP Rep. Kay Granger (TX-12) has been missing for six months. She was just found by a reporter in a dementia care facility.

Her staff and others have been keeping this a secret from her constituents. So who’s been making these posts?

I just wrote a Substack on Blue Cross's awful decision to deny ins health coverage for anesthesia for surgeries that run long. This goes beyond the usual coverage denial stuff because the denials are for medical procedures they've already deemed medically necessary. open.substack.com/pub/miranday...

I’m going to sound really old here but the fights across college football today were out of control. There were different catalysts but the underlying dynamics are lack of discipline. That’s got to stop and let football stand as the focus.

I don’t know how many more times I can watch Green fumble. It’s a given it’ll happen about once a game. Good grief, tuck the ball away.

This is a sad but accurate overview of how the LRSD has been decimated by so many factors, not the least of which is bad policy by our state and local government. We’ve got to stop undermining our local public schools.

Arkansas is going through the budget and I can say with complete confidence my expectations couldn’t be lower. With so many areas to improve to know so many won’t be legitimately considered is disappointing. Good luck to the few Dems in office who will fight the good fight.

Republicans are beginning to realize they now have to govern which is by far their worst nightmare. Seeing them flip out and continue performative stunts because they have zero helpful policies would be hilarious if it weren’t so damaging to people.
