My favorites:
- Vasona Park for nature
- Santana Row for capitalism (it’s an outdoor mall with lots of places to people watch)
- SJ Rose Garden (not been, heard great things!)
best park/place to walk around and enjoy non-east coast temperatures?

Bingo update: he’s been in New Jersey for the past couple weeks hanging out with my parents. Seems like life has been really rough for him.

I thought the shutdown was the fight, did I get that wrong
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting

These are the senators at risk of caving.

Please call them - especially if you live in their state. Please tell them to not cave until you get guarantees on healthcare. (Not just empty promises from Rs)

What was the point in all this if Dems cave now without any guarantees?
Chuck Schumer and friends. #DoNotCave Red alert. Call these Senators.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

These are the senators who are about to vote to destroy us by caving on the shutdown for nothing in return. You can call and leave a message since it's Sunday, and try again tomorrow when they're open at 9am.

pre-writing a devastating obituary for your enemy is god-tier hating of a kind you don’t often see anymore. renaissance haterism. beautiful stuff.
A Sharon Begley byline, almost 5 years after her death.

Upon hearing the news James Watson had died, a STAT reporter said in our Slack, "I wish I could read what Sharon would have written."

Incredible news: Sharon in fact did pre-write a Watson obit. And it is masterful and excoriating.

LFG Taylor!!
Only a rookie on paper 😤

Taylor Huff started every game this season, dropped 4 goals, and led all rookies in corners taken (48).

A full-season statement capped off with Rookie of the Month, presented by Ally. 💫
