What was once a mountain has become a pile of dust, fragments like the finest of sand that slips free from every attempt to snatch and hold on. The forest is charred, the buds of new growth keep being gnawed off by bugs called insecurity, fear, pain, exhaustion, distrust. The wind is no longer kind.

How much can a heart break before it’s dissolved to dust? I feel like I’m crumbling into pieces, like every word and thought and action and situation is lighting off dynamite and destroying every fragile, feeble attempt to rebuild.

You ever feel like you’re just barely holding on? My proverbial fingertips are bruised and blue from how tight I’m trying to keep it all together and stay up without falling. I don’t really know how much longer it can go on. I’m so, so exhausted.

there's been some extremely fucked up single occurrence events over the last week, but Noem admitting on camera their explicit plans/goals to take over california and usurp its leadership moments before violently having a sitting congressman get arrested by beat cops seems like a big one #political
They are extremely clear about the fact that they consider themselves to be at war with you. They do not equivocate about it. It's their stated policy.
Kristi Noem: "We are not going away. We are staying here to liberate the city from the socialists and the burdensome leadership that this governor and that this mayor have placed on this country and what they have tried to insert into the city."
