No, I’ve confirmed that Person B’s partner has no idea this is happening. To also be clear, Person B isn’t really the focus of my question, because if they do or don’t cheat would not surprise me in the slightest (from previous impressions). It’s more been the shock & disappointment around Person A.

What I DO know is that Person B is still in a relationship, but was also actively making plans to spend time & pursue their new crush and were expressing their excitement to Person A about this - who was cheering them on, giving tips and in general being very supportive about the whole thing.

From the limited information available, it’s not been perfect, but Person B has also frequently expressed how their partner is the love of their life and they would marry them someday. From what Person A has mentioned, they’ve had some issues as of late, but I don’t know the details.

To be specific: Person A has always expressed how they don’t tolerate cheating, would never cheat, and in general always said no to the concept. Person B is their friend, and despite Person B being in a serious relationship already, you found messages of Person A cheering on Person B’s new crush.
