Unsolicited writing advice, no. 999:
It’s not just the story that matters, it’s the person telling it. Your stories are filtered through your experience, your culture, your upbringing, your identity. Don’t be afraid to let it show. Those things matter. You matter.

I saw a few illustrations with this cute silly speech bubble added in, so for anyone else who would want to know, this artist is the one who drew it/has been using it in her own works before All This started up (the link is for a real sticker from her shop!)

The ACLU joins the fight. Let's go!

Steam and itch.io have removed thousands of video games in recent weeks deemed to be "adult content" in order to comply with strict rules from payment processors like Mastercard.

These policies censor artists engaged in lawful speech. Mastercard shouldn't be the gatekeepers of our digital freedom.
Why did thousands of adult titles just disappear from the biggest PC gaming marketplaces?
Digital distribution platforms Steam and itch.io have tightened their rules about adult content – under pressure from payment processors. Why has this happened and where will it lead?

If you are one of the many people without disposable income right now, simply commenting and sharing makes artists’ work more visible to those who do. You don’t need money to support your favourite artists.
Things are really not easy for artists now, so please support your favortite artists, either by buying their stuff, sharing their posts, commenting, liking, anything helps 💗

The only high point of struggling with heavy depression and obsessive anxiety the past few days, is that I've been putting my everything into painting and writing. So I may be sad af, but at least my portfolio will improve.

@ghostorchidpress.com has some of the best book covers out there.
"Wouldn't it be great if people still made book covers using real, specially comissioned art?"

You mean like these?

Doomed Lovers

This is the first piece I've worked on after quite a while. I feel a bit rusty but I'm happy that I found the process enjoyable again.

The world is burning, my second homeland is dying, I am afraid for the sake of friends and relatives, while authoritarianism is rising in my country as well. Somehow I am still writing and drawing, even if I don't know whether it'll matter soon enough.

It's infuriating to see pro-censorship tactics like this employed by learning institutions, especially as important ones as MIT. Free speech is one of the most important issues of our time and we must protect it.

Israel had a right to defend itself. By which I mean they had the right to make sure no Israeli citizens were murdered within its border. What is happening now is not self-defense, it's retributional slaughter of innocents. Shameful that my country, Greece, endorses this atrocity.
"The Israeli occupation forces make no distinction, killing men, women and children."

Al-Jazeera reports on last night's Israeli massacre in the Al-Jarjawi School in Gaza City.
