The point of that post was pretty clear: Dewsnip needed to go, and just because it seems we've replaced Dewsnip with someone worse at the job, doesn't retroactively make Dewsnip good. It means we still need a better DoF, like before

Going to be a repeat of Blackpool, isn't it, with both our big-money striker and another that we wanted both miss big chances

What's the point in investing in expanding our revenue if that's the best we can do? What's the point in a player trading model if this is the squad we end up with? Horribly unbalanced. Too many Muslic players, too many development players, too little depth in key positions

The lesson here is
a) don't change your backroom staff in response to manager pressure, they come and go far easier (as Muslic immediately proved)
b) ex-player doesn't qualify you for a role. See Jonathan Walters at Stoke. Hopefully Fox improves

Also, can't say I like that the club sanctioned such a project if we're so loss making that we need to make millions in transfer profits to survive. At that stage, you cut back the budgets of other departments too

There is still too much of this team that's built for a 3-4-3, having once *AGAIN* switched formations for the fifth window in a row. I believe lots of these players can adapt, but only with a strong spine to support them. But the spine also needs adapting, so...

I still don't think we're going to get relegated (though that chatter is getting louder, amplified by the notorious Mr S. Down), but I'll be astounded if we're even discussed r.e. the play-offs come March, save for some significant investment in the first team

Could hardly have done more defensively, showed that keen awareness of when to invert etc that we saw in pre-season but haven't so much since, generally passed well, and provided leadership that helped solidify the defence and midfield further imo.

Go on, what's your lineup? 😂

My guess: LAH; Edwards, Mitchell, Wiredu, Sorinola; Roberts, Boateng; Finn, Benarous, Hatch (Issaka on the bench, not fit enough); Pepple. Ideally Issaka is fit enough to get at least half an hour

I'm just endlessly irritated right now by the decisions being made. They're frequently the wrong ones, obviously the wrong ones, being defended for 6-12 months then admitted as mistakes when they were obviously mistakes from the off
