Seen a small selection of Fox quotes from today. Fair to say that we'd have never signed Katic with that attitude, to pick the first name to spring to mind. And the one about number nines? Nonsense

Small thing about the goal, but as Ibrahim loses the duel, Roberts steps forward to press the ball, opening a gap between midfield and defence that three Swansea players attack. Our midfield two is leaving that gap far too often so far this season #pafc

Nothing to do with it the 60%. We can spend all the transfer fees we've received. Also, it's 75% for newly relegated Champ sides anyway. But we can the equivalent of every penny received in transfer fees this season and last without breaching the rules so long as we match the other regs (we do)

With RAH's departure the latest to be confirmed, Argyle's net transfer spend is... very healthy. The club *must* be sitting on huge cash reserves, how much will be spent during the remainder of the summer? #pafc

Argyle have matched or broken the club's record transfer fee four times in the past two years. Given all the recent departures, surely this chart will change this summer #pafc

Despite facing Champ sides, no longer playing in the PJT, and entering the FA Cup at a later stage then facing very tough opposition, both Issaka and Roberts have played more minutes (league & all comps) than Cooper, Randell, Jephcott at the same age #pafc

Academy graduates Caleb Roberts and Freddie Issaka both received a squad number upgrade this summer and are now Argyle's #24 and #25. Both begin their second years as pros this season and each will surely be keen to breakthrough gain regular minutes #pafc

Consequently, Argyle purchased Goals, a "superior solution for the club" that allows the club to build a "first class training centre for our first team" around a consolidated base of operations at Home Park & Harper's Park #pafc
June 26, 2025 at 10:36 AM
The application has three projects:
- Harper's Football Centre extension
- New grass pitch
- Harper's Park rejuvenation works to existing pitches including a path linking Harper's Football Centre with Harper's Park

Though did wonders for our academy, Dewsnip made a series of high profile mistakes (to say the least). One of those was low RRCs in some key players' contracts, Hardie and Randell among them. For the best we've got a new team in to run the footballing side.

From Sheridan to Schuey was almost eleven years, during which Argyle had just four managers averaging just over 2.5 years in charge each. Since then, Argyle are set for a 4th manager in 18 months #pafc

Compensation for Muslic's - a top-10 fee received by the club, no less - adds yet more money to what's likely to be a warchest (for L1, anyway) of about £10m by my estimations (though, that's what these are remember, estimations, not facts) #pafc

I know there aren't a huge number of teams in the South West, but it feels rare to only have one other SW club in our division when not in the Champ. Yet, turns out it's also common in L1: 17/18-18/19 just us and Rovers, 20/21 us, Rovers and Swindon, 21/22 just us and Cheltenham
May 28, 2025 at 9:16 AM
In spite of how bad the L1 map looks, Argyle will actually clock up the second-lowest amount of miles travelled next season since 2020/21 #pafc

Based off available information, dates from past seasons, and rumours floating around, I've mocked up a potential calendar of what the summer might look like. Confirmed dates in green/white #pafc

Argyle have also started to dominate the academy scene in D&C. In the past four seasons, the head-to-head record reads: P13 W10 D1 L2 F37 A12. A key source of Exeter's recent strength that's deteriorated, they've now not sold a first-team academy graduate in almost two years.

Journalist with a good track record reporting that Hull want Muslic #pafc

Look at the path that Pompey's DoF took, worked their way up jumping from club to club for promotion. There will have been other roles available if Fox was looking to leave Huddersfield, but ended up as Player Loan Manager again at a better club

Parkinson's statement suggests that there won't be an SD hire. Given Fox is just another "Head of", surely that implies he and all the other heads will report into Parkinson. Can't say I love that set-up, *if* that's the case. #pafc

Mumba and Ogbeta were the only players available for every single league game this season #pafc
May 9, 2025 at 8:36 AM
Appears to be £2m, but that could be a simplification of the contract and could be split between other stuff too ofc. Other rumours say different things
May 9, 2025 at 8:02 AM
Across 21/22 and 22/23, three blocks were sold in 10 of 46 league games, 28 sold just one block of tickets. Looking at L1 next season, I don't see more than four selling out the away end, if that. So, there'll still be ample home tickets available for general sale #pafc
May 8, 2025 at 3:07 PM
Interesting decision to expand season tickets by 1.5k. That'd mean there'd be 13k in a stadium holding 17k. Now, short term it makes sense. Away attendances will likely drop, making a lot more general sale home tickets available. But there might be long-term impacts #pafc 🧵

We knew there wouldn't be many players OOC this summer, but lots of players are now entering the final year of their contracts, including a couple (particularly Hardie and Randell) whom Championship clubs have serious interest in #pafc

Can't say this is a table I thought I'd be posting this season: every team's record versus the PL top-ten this season (as it stands) #pafc
