You should add “masochist” to your bio.
That would certainly be true if the embedded AI tools were on par, quality-wise. But I can say that for software development Copilot, even using GPT-5, is an order of magnitude worse than ChatGPT. I leave my IDE all the time to use it instead.

as a software developer that uses these tools all the time I strongly disagree. These tools don’t “think” and likely never will before AGI comes to fruition. And unlike politics, software engineering requires thinking.
