Entirely reasonable. How are you finding Plausible? As someone who does analytics for a living, I'm interested in other options, because GA4 really ain't what it used to be.

If you have Google Analytics installed, it should be a little better able to tell you where real people visiting the site are located. It's not perfect - and GA4 is a definite downgrade from the previous version - but it does a lot to filter bot traffic out from the stats you see.

Autumn has arrived, and with it my ability to actually get some fiction writing done. Novel WIP #1 now stands at 31245 words, and I'm pretty glad I got that bit unblocked in the spring, because it'd be a hell of a thing to come back to.

It takes a strange sort of worldview to watch the Irish public elect a socialist, with the largest mandate in the history of the state, and conclude that what they really want is a tougher line on immigration.

If you can get your doctor to prescribe it, I recommend a nasal spray called Dymista. It's prescription-only here, but you can get it on the shelves in Finland, so I feel reasonably safe recommending that people ask for it. It's a steroid, but it clears nasal congestion up INSTANTLY. Magic.

It is absolutely mind-boggling. Particularly if you're moving through estates on the edges of provincial towns, which look like they came DIRECTLY from 1980s Ireland.

My best friend growing up had German parents, who had lived in Italy and Indonesia while he was growing up. The number of what they thought of as basic ingredients they couldn't get vastly exceeded the number they could, pretty much all the time.

Legit. I do currently have lemon juice in the fridge, but it's not on the regular list. Maybe it should be.

The prices I set are being paid, no issues there.

So I'm liking it a LOT.

Using it for the first time, I listed 25 items yesterday (listing is a LOT simpler than Ebay). I shipped 7 items this morning, with one more packaged and ready to go. Buyer pays for shipping directly, so all I need to do is pack it up and show a barcode at the post office or courier dropoff point.
