This is it for me. I don’t care if someone is angry or ungrateful or whatever emotion they feel, but I do care if they are encouraging folks to abuse a community that has limited resources to share in the first place.
Hopefully my final word on this: He openly said he was abusing people to get them to give him money & suggested others join him (while giving them literal invitations to do so). It’s not about being angry about ungratefulness. It’s about not tolerating abusers in our midst. Online harassment counts.

I block people I think are actively trolling and/or clearly can't be trusted not to be a jerk to me or others in their communication. I mute people who I think are within bounds and are doing the best they can, but I have no interest in engaging with personally.
I'm curious if anyone could explain the relative merits of blocking vs muting? I don't get abuse on here but I see a lot of obnoxious people floating around and would prefer my timeline wasn't full of other people fighting them.
