That's actually very close to the truth. I'm second wave in a male dominated industry. My habits are 30 years old.
Some things have gotten better. I had to explain to my rookies why my work name was initials and why I don't put a photo on my resume.
(They also had to Google Berlin Wall, though.)

I've found "It is what it is" on bad body days to be helpful at work.
The folks making mouthflaps go on to their request for my action and don't register it, while the folks who know have a heads up that I'm not 100% (I have been known to fall. I have a work buddy with instructions.)
