I fully support the Basic Income for Artists scheme, with only one caveat.
My caveat is that I think that it shouldn’t be restricted to artists, but be made available to everyone (many of whom will turn out to have been hidden artists all along)

Great thread just in case anyone following me is still unclear on what we would do without cops. The answer is EXACTLY WHAT WE’RE DOING NOW, BUT WITH FAR FEWER MURDERS
One of the reasons I think “defund the police” is a great slogan is that you get to repeatedly tell people that studies show that police don’t actually solve murders, and in fact one-third of stranger-murders are committed by police.
