I lived through Section 28, and impact it had on so many young people's lives. Labour's stance on trans children will be remembered with the same horror and disbelief we have for that piece of legislation now. This is a policy based on a minority opinion over fact, and will harm trans young people.

Labour's war on trans people should be held against the party forever, in the same way that Section 28 is still held against the Tories. This is not something that can or should ever be forgiven. Someday, a future Labour leader will offer a tearful apology for this. They should be told to fuck off.

Clarification from @annehealthcare.bsky.social that their service will not be affected by the NI puberty blocker ban.
Puberty blockers will still be available legally and in line with international best practice through them.
