Nothing like hearing a state party officer candidate go to a rural county that they've never set foot in before and lecture rural Dems about how to win their races.

Losing Sundance is an unqualified loss for the state. Utah's future is not bright in any sense if the most narrow and restricted view of arts and culture is the only one the supermajority legislature approves of or supports. We can do so much better than this. #utpol

This rule is what killed Florida's Amendment 4, which would have restored Abortion Access in the state. Despite earning 57% of the vote in the 2024 elections, the amendment failed because it did not cross the 60% threshold. Clearly GOP legislators want similar outcomes in Utah. #utpol
