They opened their own clinics, gave mutual aid and free food to their communities, taught people how to read, armed themselves and policed the police
We created the Black Panther Party, providing free breakfast programs, healthcare clinics, and self-defense for our neighborhoods. But the FBI labeled them a threat, launched COINTELPRO, and worked to dismantle them. Still, their legacy lives on.

The GOP passed a budget resolution tonight that will gut Medicaid, SNAP, and other vital programs — as 60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck.
