It's a pretty solid game, if not a little basic. It's essentially a 3D beat em up, nothing fancy, but the combat is satisfying enough, and you can probably beat it in an afternoon or two.

Yeah, and that's coming from someone who's a sucker for that kind of arcade-y sports game. It just doesn't feel good to play, you know? The Golf portion is fine, but everything else is super stiff, not to mention how buggy it is.

But who knows, if you find it for REALLY cheap, then why not? 🤷🏻‍♂️

To be honest, I didn't know there was a SNES version of this game! But it's good to know it's good too. How different is it from the Genesis version?

Maybe 👀 I'm torn between leaving Magnolia or Bo for last, because those are the two I'm most looking forward to playing.

It is super fun!! Especially played with friends

Maybe if we add some weapons and zombies to the game, they'll consider... no, wait, that didn't work out so well last time 👀

It is a very memorable experience!!

Developed and published by Konami in 1994 for the SEGA Genesis, this game is currently unavailable to be purchased or played on modern platforms, so you know what to do.

A similar game starring the Looney Tunes was released last year, but it was so bad, it shattered all my hopes and dreams.

Yeah, 6ish hours in, I decided to drop Anno Mutationem.

The presentation is amazing, and the combat isn't bad at all, but I don't feel like seeing this one all the way through. The pacing feels weird, exploration got boring really fast, and the dialogue and plot didn't captivate me that much.

That looks like a fun and challenging pick-up-and-play kind of game, I really dig it! Thanks for the recommendation!!

Final Fight is awesome too. And given the resurgence of beat 'em ups in the last decade, it surprises me that Capcom hasn't brought it back beyond some playable characters and cameos in Street Fighter.

Absolutely, this game shows exactly what life is like around here. I, for example, never leave home without my trusty yo-yo, so that I can explore and overcome the city's obstacles with ease.

P: Pikmin 3

It was the first RTS I ever finished, and it became one of my favorite Nintendo games. I played the first and fourth games this year too, but Pikmin 3 is the one that made the biggest impression on me.

Developed by Ancient and published by SEGA in 1992, this game is currently available as a part of the Nintendo Switch Online catalog of Genesis games.

It was also available as a part of the "Sega Genesis Classics" compilation, but that collection was delisted, because game preservation is a joke.

Imagine how much they could expand the game's ideas with the Switch 2's mouse controls!! It would be really cool to see.

I love it when indie devs base their games on their own culture or daily life. That was one of my favorite parts of the last game I finished, Pipistrello, a game made by Brazilians packed with references to the country's modern culture.

This looks cool, and I'm pretty sure my PC can run it 😅
