Today's #DailyPuzzleChallenge solution featured more navigating gaps on the right using difficult pieces, with the ultimate goal of keeping pieces that play nicer with one another to fill in the void on the left side.

Tomorrow, we go back to "normal" when the day square moves to the left once more.

Today's #DailyPuzzleChallenge solution, in contrast to yesterday's, was much easier, even with basically the same amount of open space on half the board. It's probably because I was able to get the toughest pieces out of the way right away on the right side.

Today's #DailyPuzzleChallenge solution felt trickier than normal for how much of the left side of the board was open to me. Still not terrible, but the long S piece was giving me more trouble than I had anticipated at first. Once that one was good, the rest of them fell right into place though.

Today's #DailyPuzzleChallenge solution used the "rapidly swap around pieces until something works" method, and it worked surprisingly quickly (under 2 minutes), despite the number of swaps (upwards of 30). Did some of the swaps simply undo a previous one? Maybe, but I still count them.

Today's #DailyPuzzleChallenge solution on a slow, chilly Monday morning. Hoping that work stays chill, but not slow, and that the sun stays out to help my mood and energy, because the coffee is taking its time to kick in.

Hope all of you reading this have a calm Monday and rest of the week as well!

Today's #DailyPuzzleChallenge solution was a tough one. I guess it would be fitting for a Sunday puzzle if this were published in a newspaper or some other series where difficulty scales from Monday (easy) to Sunday (diabolical). Ultimately, the key was to use the bendiest pieces around the 16.

I'm sorry, what do you mean we're basically halfway through the month already? It's been a busy one, for sure.

Today's #DailyPuzzleChallenge solution reflects how busy I've been, because I actually solved it last night, just in case my support shift this weekend had me too busy or tired.

Hey there! Long time no stream! But I'll finally be hitting the live button again tonight for some Jackbox with @dani007a.bsky.social, @maisenow.bsky.social, and @tygamer0426.bsky.social. Join us at 8pm EST (that's in about 3 hours) for some high quality nonsense and probably unhinged banter!

Today's #DailyPuzzleChallenge solution was stumbled across completely unexpectedly. I had the skeleton outline of the right side locked in early, and then figured I'd spend about 5 minutes trying to fill in the rest. But on about the 3rd or so try, a minute in, this just happened.

Today's #DailyPuzzleChallenge solution uses a lot of nesting pieces to fill in the bottom half, where I can just treat the Thursday square like a hard boundary instead of a blank square. Nested/stacked pieces seem to almost always be the best way to fill in large areas of the board.

Today's #DailyPuzzleChallenge solution is being posted on my first real break of the day. It was actually solved before leaving for work as usual, but without enough time to make a post before heading out the door. Hopefully tomorrow is less hectic and we can return to the usual morning posts.

Today's #DailyPuzzleChallenge solution opted to leave the top three pieces in place once again since they just work so well there. The increased difficulty imposed by having fewer pieces available for the rest of the board is mitigated somewhat by getting the most annoying ones out of the way early.

My first attempt at today's #DailyPuzzleChallenge solution looked almost exactly like this, but the long L and I pieces were swapped, and it just wouldn't quite work. So I picked up everything but the top three pieces and started on the bottom right, and it turns out I had the right idea all along.

Today's #DailyPuzzleChallenge solution, as well as yesterday's (oops, blame the late Halloween party we hosted yesterday, along with the massive amount of food I cooked for it, for missing a day) were very straightforward. In fact, only today's required picking a piece back up after it was placed.

Today's #DailyPuzzleChallenge solution is a pretty chill one where I had no plan going in other than the U piece around the day of the week, and was fully prepared to spend several minutes on the rest, but instead most of the things I tried worked out by the second attempt.

Today's #DailyPuzzleChallenge solution brought to you in between 2 work meetings, 4 work group chats, 2 additional work side chats, and is made possible solely due to morning coffee. The one upside is that I've been able to work from home all week, so my breaks feel a little more relaxing.

Today's #DailyPuzzleChallenge solution involves a rare case where two adjacent squares are left open. These ones tend to skew easier because the individual spaces can pretty much be treated as just a single gap, so I really only have to work around two of them on days like this.
November 5, 2025 at 2:38 PM
Today's #DailyPuzzleChallenge solution gave me a little more trouble than yesterday's, but still wasn't too bad overall. It can be a little tricky to find pieces other than the U to fit around the Tuesday square at the bottom, and it took a few tries, but eventually it all worked out.
November 4, 2025 at 1:52 PM
Today's #DailyPuzzleChallenge solution was a near-freebie. There were some pretty well defined spots to use up the more troublesome pieces, such as the U, the Z, the T, and the long L and I. With those out of the way, just the bottom left quadrant remained.

Today's #DailyPuzzleChallenge solution was like:

*start from scratch* Nope, can't find anything that works

*start from scratch* Hmmm...close but not quite

*start from scratch* *everything fits in place first try without picking anything back up*

*APD.exe has stopped working*

Today's #DailyPuzzleChallenge solution was solved in two sittings. The upper right was done pretty quickly, and most of the upper left and lower right were too. After a break for food, only a couple pieces that had been previously set needed to be relocated in order to finish the puzzle.

Today's #DailyPuzzleChallenge solution was scary hard for a Friday. Normally I can just set the U at the bottom and figure out the rest, but all of the bendy pieces kept giving me issues, until finally I stumbled into whatever this configuration is.

Happy Halloween everyone!

Today's #DailyPuzzleChallenge solution is the result of stubbornly clinging to an initial idea I had for the bottom half of the board, starting with the I and the U. Every time a row was completed, it was left in place until I brute forced the next one, and it shockingly didn't take too long.
October 30, 2025 at 1:17 PM
Flip two, swap two, and there you have today's #DailyPuzzleChallenge solution.

Nearly identical to yesterday's, the changes as stated above are that the long L and U pieces rotate/flip, and the "square" and small L switch places (while also flipping/rotating).
