My grandmother’s chop suey recipe. Mom made it for Dad to help connect him to his out of state family: this was New Year’s Day my whole childhood. It’s basically post WWII “Asian” beef stew (with pork added for New Year’s luck). Mine turned out pretty well! Kitchen witchery FTW!
