2022, Qatar: "Fuck this, I'm not watching a World Cup in a fascist country. I guess I'll wait another four years..."

2026: So I guess the joke is on me.

I asked grok who was the better role model for humanity, Jesus Christ or Elon Musk. GUESS WHAT.

It’s also got way more in common with the Epstein scandal than you really want to know.

Now that the Sept and Oct data are (belatedly) in, it looks like 2025 will be the second warmest year in the record (~80% probability). The last three years are in a class of their own.

With current pledges, the world's on track for 2.6°C of warming in 2100 compared to preindustrial levels.

10 years ago, before the Paris agreement, it was 3.6°C

20+ years ago, we thought it would be 4-5°C

So 2.6°C is better, but the problem is that climate impacts are way worse than we predicted.
World still on track for catastrophic 2.6C temperature rise, report finds
Fossil fuel emissions have hit a record high while many nations have done too little to avert deadly global heating

Disruptive innovation is a term popularised by the American academic Clayton Christensen.

This is a prime example: learning effects lead to reduced cost of solar leading to more adoption resulting in more learning effects because of modularisation.
